Pheronet Meal Moth Overview

The Pheronet cardboard sticky trap comes in a pack of ten with ten species specific pheromone dispensers that act as an attractant to the most common food moths.

Small and discreet, can be tucked away on top of shelves or under cupboards. Cigarette beetle, Lasioderma serricorne pheromone can be added on request.

Application
Assembly

Remove protective paper, fold the trap into a triangle and secure with the tab with glue patch. Place pheromone lure in the centre of the trap.

Where to place / Distance
  • In a small room, e.g. a kitchen, one trap will be sufficient. In a larger area place one trap every 25 metres squared.
  • When trying to pinpoint infestations more traps can be used.
  • Place additional traps around fittings and equipment if needed, making sure they are still placed were they can be inspected easily.
  • The trap can be hung, or placed on a flat surface.
Replacement
  • Replace trap after 12 weeks unless full earlier.
Storage
  • The traps should be stored in their sealed packaging, in a cool dry place for a shelf life of 12 months.
  • If longer storage is required, store in a fridge or freezer.
